World Cup 2014 Qualifying Groups: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, South America
Africa will have 5 places slots for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The 24 lowest ranked Participating Member Associations (PMAs) based on the FIFA World Rankings of July 2011 participate in Round One.
The 24 teams are paired into 12 home-and-away legs to be played from 11 - 15 November 2011. The 12 winners of each leg advanced to Round Two. The matches are:
Seychelles v Kenya; Guinea-Bissau v Togo; Djibouti v Namibia; Mauritius v Liberia; Comoros v Mozambique; Equatorial Guinea v Madagascar; Somalia v Ethiopia; Lesotho v Burundi; Eritrea v Rwanda; Swaziland v Congo DR; São Tomé e Príncipe v Congo; Chad v Tanzania
The 12 Round One winners join the remaining 28 PMAs in Round Two. The 40 teams will be drawn into 10 round-robin, home-and-away groups of 4 teams each. The matches are scheduled to be played from 1 June 2012 - 10 September 2013. The 10 group winners will advance to Round Three.
