The Asian Cup is the Asian Football Confederation's premier international tournament and is now held every four years.
The Asian Cup in 2007 was held from 7 July - 29 July jointly by four nations: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam and was won in an emotional final by war-torn Iraq 1-0 in the final against Saudi Arabia in Jakarta.
The 2011 Asian Cup is scheduled for Qatar.
