The matches will be played at the 42,056-capacity Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium and the 45,000-capacity Zayed Sports City both in Abu Dhabi.
Inter, who defeated Bayern in the 2009 Champions League final start as favorites, though they are now coached by Rafa Benitez not Jose Mourinho and have slipped in Serie A this season. Inter will look to Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito for goals up front and Wesley Sneijder for inspiration in midfield.
2010 Copa Libertadores holders Internacional won the 2006 Club World Cup in Japan shocking Barcelona in the final and we fancy them to repeat the feat in the Middle East against a less than formidable Inter side. Celso Roth's Internacional have a strong Argentinian presence in the side with Andrés D'Alessandro in midfield and Roberto Abbondanzieri in goal.
Seongnam Ilhwa are a powerhouse of South Korean football and Shin Tae-yong's team will look for good displays from their three foreign stars Australian Sasa Ognenovski, Dzenan Radoncic of Montenegro and Colombia's Mauricio Molina.
Flying the flag for Oceania and Papua New Guinea soccer are unknowns Hekari United.
Mexican side Pachuca from Hilgado state are making their third appearance at the World Club Cup but have not performed well so far on the big stage. Los Tuzos will be hoping for better this time around.
TP Mazembe Englebert from Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo were an African powerhouse in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Founded by Benedictine monks back in 1939, the team reached the Club World Cup last year losing both its matches.
Home side Al Wahda, are coached by Romanian Laszlo Boloni who replaced the Austrian Josef Hickersberger. The team will look to its Brazilian duo of Fernando Baiano and Magrao.
