Argentina

Classic Football Shirts.

Argentina have an embarrassment of riches especially up front where Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain are a formidable trio. That Carlos Tevez is not in the squad says much about the quality of the Argentine attack. It is in midfield and defense that the Albicelestes have problems. A central midfield of Fernando Gago and Javier Mascherano does not look that creative and much will depend on Real Madrid's Angel di Maria to supply the forwards. At the back Pablo Zabaleta should feature though his Manchester City teammate Martin Demichelis will be a reserve for the first choice centre-back pairing of Ezequiel Garay (Benfica) and Federico Fernandez (Napoli). The goalkeeping spot is a worry with the error-prone Sergio Romero out-of-favour at his club, Monaco.

Bosnia - Herzegovina

Bosnia - Herzegovina rely much on the strike force of Manchester City's Edin Dzeko and Stuttgart's Vedad Ibisevic to win games by outscoring their opponents. The Dragons scored an impressive 30 goals in qualifying and in Asmir Begovic in goal and Senad Lulic in midfield they have other high quality players. The problems are at the back and defensive midfield and the lack of depth of the squad. Any injuries and the team would be much weaker. Problems in the camp between coach, Susic and some of his star names recently, don't help. If they can recover from probable defeat against Argentina in the opener, Iran and Nigeria are both beatable.

Iran

Iran last reached the World Cup finals in Germany in 2006 and played in Group D against Mexico, Portugal and Angola, gaining a single point with a 1-1 draw with Angola in Leipzig. Iran's chances of progression from the group stage look equally bleak this time around, though qualifying has been seen as a great achievement. International sanctions mean that many teams will not play friendlies in Iran, which has hampered the team's preparations for Brazil. Iran will be defensive with a 4-5-1 system built around a solid back four with Charlton's Reza Ghoochannejad as the lone striker. It's difficult to see Iran getting out of this competitive group.

Nigeria

Nigeria won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa 2013 and the Super Eagles are flying high at the moment, despite a bit of a let-down in the Confederations Cup in Brazil. The fixtures have been kind with Nigeria not having to face their nemesis Argentina until the last match. Nigeria have a youthful, pacy squad which lacks the star names of past eras. Names to watch for are Vincent Enyeama in goal and Emmanuel Emenike up front.
