The new state-of-the art indoor stadium, designed by Hiroshi Hara, will have a capacity of 42,122-seats and will feature the world's first mobile natural turf pitch. Using new technology, the outdoor grass field will be able to slide over the indoor artificial surface in times of bad weather making the Sapporo Dome arguably the most advanced indoor sports stadium on the planet.
