Tickets went on sale April 28 2003. Tickets are priced from EUR 35 to EUR 270.

There are 8 venue cities:
Aveiro, Braga, Coimbra, Faro/Loulé, Guimarães, Leiria, Lisbon and Porto.
Lisbon and Porto both have two stadiums holding matches.

Ticket Categories: What they mean

Ticket categories are equally divided in the stadiums.

Category 1 - Along the sides of the pitch.

Category 2 - In the corners and behind the goals above Category 3 seats.

Category 3 - Behind the goals.

Individual match tickets

Maximum 4 tickets per applicant for any match not on the same day.
Maximum 19 matches.

Follow my team tickets

Series of 6 tickets (3 group games, quarter-final, semi-final and final)
Maximum 4 series per applicant.

Total pre-payment is required. If teams fail to progress, clients are reimbursed. For example, if a team is knocked out at the quarter-final stage, the cost of the ticket for the semi-final and final will be reimbursed.

Hospitality packages

Will be available between July and September 2003.

Sales Phases

When are the application dates? There are 3 periods for ticket applications:

First Phase; pre-lottery sales phase - April 28 to June 16, 2003

During this period the general public can apply for tickets online at www.euro2004.com

In the case of over-subscription of ticket applications a lottery will be held and all the applicants will be informed if they were successfully drawn or not.
The winners will receive a mail pack in July 2003, with information about the championship and confirmation of their tickets.

Tickets will be delivered by May 15, 2004

Second Phase; post-lottery sales phase; August 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004

Applicants can apply for tickets online at www.euro2004.com on a 'first come, first served' basis and once reserved tickets are guaranteed.

Third phase; last minute sale phase; April 1, 2004 until the end of the tournament

Tickets will be on sale at the stadium and also online for collection at the stadium.

Payments can be made using most major credit cards with the exception of JCB. (Japan)

Portugal Euro 2004 will take place between June 12 and July 4 2004.
The 15 qualifying teams plus host Portugal will be divided into four groups of four. The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals, with a knockout system in place from that stage on.
