Balali and Haim Revivo.

Slovenia crushed Cyprus with two goals from striker Ermin Siljak,
a Zlatko Zahovic penalty and a fourth from Nastja Ceh. Cyprus briefly
got back in the game when Michael Konstantinou pounced on a defensive
mistake to equalize Siljak's fifth minute opener.
A lacklustre France struggled to beat Israel 2-1 in Palermo, Italy.
France went behind to Omri Afek's second minute strike, but fought
back with goals from David Trezeguet and Zinedine Zidane before
the break. Both players now have 22 goals for their country and
France are only one point away from qualifying for Euro 2004.

brace put Slovenia 3-0 up before Kaiserslautern striker Michael
Mifsud grabbed a late consolation for Malta.
Two goals at the death from substitute Walid Badir and Shai Holtzman
gave Israel a vital win in Palermo.

Israel could only draw 0-0 against a defensive Slovenia in Antalya,
Turkey.
Ten-man Malta went down to Cyprus in Valletta. Goalkeeper Saviour
Darmanin was sent off after 21 minutes following a foul on Michael
Konstantinou in the area resulting in a penalty, which the striker
duly converted. Konstantinou, again, doubled Cyprus' lead after
the break before Luke Dimech pulled one back for Malta.
