Muhammet Akagunduz scored against Belarus.
Goals from Marek Jankulovski and Tomas Rosicky for the Czech
Republic sank 10-man Moldova.

Holland top group 3 after a convincing win in Austria
with the goals coming from Clarence Seedorf, Philip Cocu and Roy
Makaay. Austria's Martin Hiden was sent off.
Liverpool's Milan Baros was the hero for the Czechs in their
two-nil win over minnows Belarus. Baros set up Karel Poborsky
for the home team's first after seven minutes and scored himself
on twenty-three minutes as the resurgent Czech team made it two
wins out of two.

by Jan Koller with an equaliser 20 minutes into the second half.

Moldova 1 v Netherlands 2
Man-mountain Jan Koller scored twice as the Czechs Republic trounced
Austria 4-0 in Prague to go to of the group. Juventus midfielder
Pavel Nedved opened the scoring before the first of Koller's goals
made it 2-0. Austrian substitute Bozo Kovacevic was sent off for
a foul in the penalty area on Liverpool striker Milan Baros early
in the second half which Udinese's Marek Jankulovski converted.
A Koller header in the 62nd minute wrapped up the win for the resurgent
Czechs.
Holland overcame an early Vadim Boret goal to edge Moldova with
a header from Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy and a long
shot from Mark Von Bommel that was mishandled by Moldovan goalkeeper
Evgheni Hmaruc.

Moldova pulled off a surprise 1-0 win over Austria with a goal on
the hour from Viorel Frunza.
Second-half goals from Barcelona pair Marc Overmars and Patrick

Austria had five different scorers as they blitzed Belarus. Rene
Aufhauser gave the home side a first half lead and Mario Haas, Roland
Kirchler, Roman Wallner and Harald Cerny added second half goals.
The Czechs bounced Moldova five-zip with goals from Vladimir Smicer,
a Jan Koller penalty with Jiri Stajner and a late brace from Vratislav
Lokvenc adding to Moldova's woes as the Czechs go top.
