The city of Guimarães is home to Vitoria Guimarães. Euro 2004 matches will take place at the club's home ground, Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques (named after a Portuguese king). The Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques has a capacity of 30,000 and underwent improvements costing around US$28 million prior to the championships.

Getting There

The stadium is located downtown north-west of the city center of Guimaraes only a few minutes on foot from the Praça do Toural square.
