Cape Town International Airport

South African domestic flights.Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town is South Africa's second busiest international and domestic airport after OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg.

The airport is located 20km east of the city center about 20 minutes drive from downtown. Public transport consists of either bus or taxi. All the major car rental firms are represented at the airport.

Cape Town International Airport has undergone enlargement and extension in preparation for the 2010 World Cup with the building of the Central Terminal Building link the domestic and international terminals. The airport handled 7.8 million passengers in 2008-2009.
