The international flag-carrier is South

London from both JoBurg and Cape Town and flies to numerous European
cities often with a change of airline at one of the major European
hubs (Heathrow, Paris or Frankfurt).

and many other destinations in western Europe.

South African Airways flies daily to Washington non-stop and one-stop
from Johannesburg via Dakar (Senegal) to New York. From Canada flights
go via London and Amsterdam with British Airways and Northwest/KLM.
