South African Visas

Citizens of European Union (EU) member states, the USA, Australia and Japan do not require visas to enter and stay in South Africa for up to 90 days. (See countries listed Entry visa not required 90 days: No in the table below).

Citizens of Peru, Poland, South Korea, Turkey do not require visas to enter and stay in South Africa for up to 30 days. (See countries listed Entry visa not required 30 days: No in the table below).

All citizens of other countries need to obtain a valid tourist visa from the South African embassy or consulates in their country. (See countries listed Entry visa required : Yes in the table below).

Currently South African visas cost R425.00 or US$47.00 or €43.00 and take 10 days to process. Two identity photographs are necessary.
