Amsterdam ArenA is a stadium of firsts. Having opened in 1996, it became the first ground in the world with an underground motorway running underneath it, and was also the first sporting arena in Europe to have a retractable roof.

Views across the ground are unobstructed and absolutely fantastic.

The surrounding area, ArenA Boulevard is home to many bars, shops and restaurants.

Getting to Amsterdam ArenA

Train

Regular trains run from Amsterdam Centraal Station to Amsterdam Bijmer ArenA, which is a five minute walk from the ground.

Metro

Metro services 50 (from Isolatorweg) and 54 (from Centraal Station) stop at Amsterdam Bijmer ArenA station.

Car

Exit Ring Amsterdam at Burg. Stramanweg (sign posted Amsterdam ArenA).
