Molecule Man on the banks of the River Spree near the Treptower Park and the Elsen Bridge in Berlin was designed by American artist Jonathan Borofsky. The 30m-tall aluminum sculpture was erected in 1997.
The sculpture consists of three towering figures made of aluminum, each with a large hole through its midsection. The Molecule Man is intended to symbolize the unity of humanity, with the three figures coming together as one. The sculpture has become a prominent landmark in Berlin, attracting visitors who are drawn to its unique design and the picturesque riverside setting.
