Images of South Africa:Lost City is part of the Sun City entertainment complex near Rustenburg in South Africa. Lost City is the Disney-inspired showpiece of Sun City - the vast entertainment and casino center built in the Apartheid era in the now defunct bantustan of Bophuthatswana by South African entrepreneur Sol Kerzer. Self-styled as the "Africa's Kingdom of Pleasure" Sun City is set in an awe-inspiring location and is a lot of fun to visit.
The complex features four hotels, the Valley of Waves water park, two championship golf courses, designed by Gary Player and borders the Big 5 Pilanesberg National Park for game drives.
