The Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna is the city's major tourist attraction. The Schonbrunn Palace is associated with the reign of Empress Maria Theresa (1717-1780) when the glories of the palace were at their zenith. The large gardens at Schonbrunn include a maze, various follies, a Tiergarten (menagerie) and orangerie.
