Taxis are plentiful in Zurich and are often Mercedes saloons like the one pictured. Taxis congregate outside the main station in Zurich or can be flagged on the street. There are over 1300 registered taxis in Zurich but they are not cheap. Flag fall is presently 6 SFr with 3.80 SFr per kilometer thereafter. There is no extra charge for luggage.
