Beatrice Bulteau was born in Sancerre, "Val de Loire", France in 1959, and was encouraged to paint from an early age by her artist mother, Helen Clement.
After 3 years of study at the Sorbonne in Paris, Beatrice decided to persue her career as a self taught painter, developing her own naturistic style based on forms and images collected on her extensive travels throughout Europe.
With her move to Lisbon, Portugal in 1980 she began her series of studies with horses and movement, and developed her current impressionistic style in watercolor.
Since 1985 Beatrice has exhibited in galleries in Paris, Lisbon, San Francisco, Tokyo and further 30 galleries throughout the United States of America and Europe.
