Portuguese photographer Dias dos Reis spent the evening before the Euro 2004 quarterfinal between England and Portugal in Lisbon on June 24 2004 photographing England and Portugal fans.

“The most appealing side of an international competition is the interaction of cultures, the fair-play before and after the match and of course the unique way the British have to live the game.

So, I spent an evening among the English and (some) Portuguese supporters - not many as it was a normal working day - before the match between these two teams.”
