The Stuttgart Beer Festival is actually the Cannstatter Volksfest, a three week harvest festival and fun fair from late September to early October dating back to the early 19th century. Rides include Ferris wheels, roller coasters and carousels.
Stuttgart Beer Festival is Europe's second largest beer festival behind the Oktoberfest in Munich.
