Sales phases for 2010 World Cup tickets
First sales phase: 20 February 2009 to 31 March 2009
During the first ticket phase, the allocation process will involve
a random selection draw for all over-subscribed Matches or Team
Specific Tickets (TSTs). The first sales phase random selection
draw will take place on 15th April 2009.
Note: it makes no difference whether you apply early, on 20 February
2009, or late, on 31 March 2009. Each correctly submitted application
will have the same opportunity of being successful in the draw.
Second sales phase: 4 May 2009 to 16 November 2009
Ticket applications submitted during phase two will be processed,
subject to availability, on a first come first served basis - in
the order of receipt. The 2nd Ticketing Phase for the 2010 FIFA
World CupTM will start on Monday, 4 May 2009, at Noon (SA Time).
There will be approximately 100,000 tickets made available for this
phase, excluding the two Semi-Finals and the Final (matches 61,
62 and 64). From now on, the tickets will be allocated on a "first
come, first serve" [sic] basis. Applications can be made at
FNB branches or via the FIFA website (www.fifa.com).
Third sales phase: 5 December 2009 to 22 January 2010
The procedure corresponds to that of phase one: all correctly submitted
applications received during this stage will be considered for allocation.
If the number of applications for Match or Team Specific tickets
(TSTs) exceeds the number of tickets available, tickets will be
allocated by a random selection draw taking place on 1 February
2010.
Note: it makes no difference whether you apply early, on 5 December
2009, or late, on 22 January 2010. Each correctly submitted application
will have the same opportunity of being successful in the draw.
Fourth sales phase: 9 February 2010 to 7 April 2010
Ticket applications submitted during this stage will be processed,
subject to availability, on a first come first served basis - in
the order of receipt.

person who collects the tickets IN SOUTH AFRICA AT THE VENUE.

Africa™ Ticket collection points in each of the 9 host cities
to be announced from April 2010.
Tickets WILL NOT BE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME ADDRESS.

Organizing Your Trip
If you are a first time visitor to the World Cup, we strongly advise
you consult with other people going through the same ticket ordering
procedure and planning their itineraries, accommodation and flights
to South Africa. With its known security issues, it would be wise
to plan your World Cup experience in consultation with other fans.
