World Soccer Stadiums: De Kuip Stadium (Feyenoord)
Feyenoord Stadium (De Kuip), Rotterdam, Holland
Capacity - 51,177
Feyenoord's home ground, nicknamed 'De Kuip'
('The Tub'), is one of the most instantly recognisable
venues in European football. The stadium looms large over the south
of Rotterdam, with its distinctive external staircases, towering
floodlights and intense atmosphere visible for miles.
De Kuip has held over 150 Holland international matches to date
as well as the 2000 European Championships final, won by France.
Visiting fans to Feyenoord are located in Blocks G and GG in De
Kuip. Views from the upper and lower tiers are good, though a large
fence obscures the view on one side on the visitors section.
Getting to De Kuip

On match days there is a direct train service from Rotterdam Central
Station to Rotterdam Stadion stop. Visiting supports can enter blocks
G and GG directly from the station.

Tramlines 23 and 29 from the city centre stop just outside the
ground. Be advised that the trams are not particularly frequent
and it is likely to take an hour to get away from De Kuip if travelling
