Hannover Stadium

Hannover Stadium.Niedersachsenstadion (reconstruction) - 45,000 capacity.

The original Niedersachsenstadion was completed in 1954 and has been home to the Bundesliga's Hannover 96 since 1959. The stadium was used for the 1974 World Cup with both Brazil and Holland playing matches here.
Reconstruction began in March 2003 and the stadium was completed in December 2004 at an estimated cost of 64 million Euros. There are 2 41 square meter LED video screens and a stat-of-art PA system.

Getting to Niedersachsenstadion

The stadium is the home ground of Hannover 96 and can be reached on foot from the city center in a leisurely half an hour.
Train:
Take the tram line U3, U7 or U0 towards Wettbergen, Wallensteinstrasse or Empelde to Waterloo, from there it is a seven minute walk.
