Stuttgart Football StadiumMercedes-Benz-Arena (formerly Gottlieb-Daimler Stadion)

Gottlieb-Daimler Stadion (reconstruction) - 54,500 capacity. Now known as Mercedes-Benz-Arena.

A soccer stadium has existed on the present site since 1933 when the (then-named) Neckar-Stadion was first built.

The stadium is also a venue for Euro 2024.

The ground is home to VfB Stuttgart of the Bundesliga. Total costs for the redevelopment and renovation of the stadium are estimated at 41-56 million Euros and include two giant video screens and barcode reader turnstiles.

Along with Berlin and Nürnburg, Stuttgart is one of the three stadia for World Cup 2006 to incorporate a running track.

Getting to Mercedes-Benz-Arena (Gottlieb-Daimler Stadion)

The stadium is the home ground of VfB Stuttgart.

Train: Line S1 or tram line U11 to Mercedes-Benz-Arena (formerly Gottlieb-Daimler- Stadion).

From the airport S2 or S3 to Bad Cannstatt.

Bus:
Buses #52, #55 (to Wilhelmsplatz) or #56 (to Gottlieb-Daimler- Stadion).
