Klopp to bring longevity, stability and success back to Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp was appointed as the new Liverpool manager just nine months ago but he has already done enough to win both the supporters and owners over. Two cup final appearances later and the German has signed a six-year contract extension; an act that suggests the club are more than happy with his progress and believe he is the right man to take the Reds back to the top - and it's hard to argue with that assessment.

Since arriving at Anfield, Klopp has injected energy, passion and desire back into the Liverpool squad. The Reds have played some superb stuff and it finally looks like they could challenge for the Premier League at some point in the not-so-distant future. At the time of writing, Paddy Power are offering 9/1 on Liverpool to win the title in their Premier League 2016/17 odds markets. And while the standard is arguably more competitive than ever before, the Reds will be quietly confident of their chances.

Klopp is one of a kind: Whilst the two Manchester clubs are raving about Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, Liverpool fans believe they have THE best manager in world football. His passion is certainly unrivalled on the European stage and he has the temperament and nous to lead the Reds back to the title. The league has eluded them for such a long time but their current boss has the credentials to guide the club to the top of the English footballing ladder.

On their day, Liverpool have the quality and talent to beat anybody. The Reds have bought into Klopp's "gegenpress" philosophy and style of football and they are now reaping the full rewards from his intense pressing method. Liverpool are perhaps the fittest side in the Premier League and their high-tempo will cause plenty of problems for opposing defences during the upcoming campaign. If nothing else, Klopp's men should be aiming to finish in the top four next season and from there, it is all about luck.

And let's be honest; Klopp hasn't been appointed as a short term fix. He's in it for the long haul. The German wants to build a dynasty era at Anfield and believes that he is the man to finally get Liverpool back above arch-rivals Manchester United as the most successful club in England. He has already bought into the fiery rivalry between the two sides and the former Borussia Dortmund boss is slowly but surely bringing the winning mentality back to the red half of Merseyside.

When Klopp took over, Liverpool were in a real mess so he did incredibly well to lead the Reds to two cup finals and with a full summer of pre-season training and investment in the transfer market, there's absolutely no reason why the manager cannot lead the club back to the top next season. And it looks like the German is going be around for many years to come...
