Anfield Murals, Liverpool
The terraced streets around Anfield Stadium in Liverpool near Stanley Park are home to a large number of murals celebrating the club, its history, players, managers and others connected with the football club.
The colorful street art has become a magnet for visiting tourists, many from overseas, who have earlier taken in the Anfield Tour at the ground.
They include murals of current manager Jurgen Klopp, set to step down at the end of the 2023-2024 Premier League season, Ian Rush, the club's top scorer (346 goals; 660 games), the legendary coach Bill Shankly and local Liverpool lad made good Trent Alexander-Arnold.
They are also murals in honor of club legends Ian St John, Roger Hunt, Kenny Dalglish, Ray Clemence, Alan Kennedy, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler (183 goals; 369 games), Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Mo Salah, Jan Molby, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino.
If you are visiting Anfield as either a visiting away fan or a Liverpool fan from elsewhere do take the time to stroll the streets around the ground. The street art is a great reminder of what the club is all about.

The late Anne Williams (1951-2013), who campaigned for justice after the Hillsborough disaster of 1989 is commemorated on Sunbury Road. Her son, Kevin, was one of the 97 Liverpool football fans who died at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield.
