Schedule & Results World Cup 2022, Qatar
The World Cup in Qatar 2022 will be the first time the tournament has been held in the Middle East.
The tournament will run from Sunday 20 November to Sunday 18 December 2022.
The opening game will the hosts Qatar v Ecuador on Sunday 20 at 19.00 local time to be followed by Netherlands v Senegal at 19:00 the next day.
Groups
The groups for the 2022 World Cup are as follows.
The 8 seeded teams are hosts Qatar in Group A, England, Argentina, France, Spain, Belgium, Brazil, and Portugal.

World Cup 2022 Schedule
All times are local times. The games are GMT + 3 hours .
Group games take place at various times: 13:00, 16:00, 18:00, 19:00, and 22:00 local time, with knockout stage games at 18:00 and 22:00 local Qatar time.
The semi-finals kick off at 22:00 local time, the third place match at 18:00 and the Final at Lusail Stadium also at 18.00 local time.
