Europe's greatest football museums
With a near perfect score of 9.66/10, the Greek Football Museum is Europe's greatest museum for football fans. The exhibition boasts the highest average Trip Advisor score in the study (4.94), with 95% of attendees rating five stars. In addition, entry is completely free. The average ticket for a museum in the top 10 costs entrants €9.83 - the Greek Football Museum is the only to charge nothing at all.
Belgrade's Red Star Museum and Glasgow's Scottish Football Museum draw for the second best footie museums in Europe, tied with a score of 8.61. Glaswegians can enjoy the third best rated experience in the continent (behind the Greek Football Museum - 4.94 - and Bucharest's Museum of Football - 4.80) with a Trip Advisor score of 4.72.
However, that comes at a slightly more expensive price tag of €5.90. For slightly less, at €5.10 - the Red Star Museum offers the fifth highest rated experience in Europe.
For those making the pilgrimage to Germany for this year's Euros, the German Football Museum also offers a top experience. Coming in at number 7, with a score of 7.15/10, Dortmund's exhibition is hindered somewhat by its €15.00 price tag - only The National Football Museum (€16.40) and the FC Porto Museum (€20.00) are more expensive.
The National Football Museum, in Manchester, rounds out the top 10. 50% of guests gave it a 5 star rating, giving it an average Trip Advisor score of 4.27. However, it is €10 more expensive (€16.40) than the Scottish Football Museum (€5.90) just a few hours north.
