Bellsdale Park in Beith, North Ayrshire, Scotland, is the home ground of Beith Juniors. The club competes in the West of Scotland Football League (WoSFL) of football in Scotland. The league consists of 16 teams. Altogether, there are 80 member clubs competing in five divisions: East of Scotland, West of Scotland, South of Scotland, North JFA, and North Caledonian.

Capacity

The stadium has a capacity for between 1,500-2,000 spectators with minimal seating in one covered enclosure.

The playing surface is natural grass with a diagonal slope. There are presently no floodlights.

Club History

The team are nicknamed "The Mighty" or "The Cabes" (cabinet makers). The team is the successor club to Beith who competed in the Scottish League from 1923 to 1926 and dissolved in 1938. Club colors are black and white stripes.

Some famous players to have represented The Mighty include Steve Clarke, the current Scotland national team manager, and Ken Armstrong, a centre-half who represented several clubs south of the border including Southampton in the 1980s.

Access - Getting There

The nearest station is Glengarnock on the Ayrshire Coast Line from Glasgow. There are between 2-3 trains an hour to Glasgow.

It's about 50 minutes on foot from the station though buses do run to the ground from Garnock campus near the station.

These buses include the X36 to Glasgow as well as several more local services: 904, 25B, 25D and 25.

There is a pub and a fish and chip shop near the ground. What more could you ask?
