The stadium hosts the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.

Vancouver Whitecaps
Nicknamed 'Blue-and-White' (or just 'Caps'), Vancouver Whitecaps play their home games at the stadium. The club was founded in 1973 making the Whitecaps the longest-running professional soccer club in North America, present across several league incarnations.
The original Whitecaps began playing in 1974 in the North American Soccer League (NASL). They became a powerhouse in the late 70s, culminating in winning the Soccer Bowl in 1979.
After the NASL folded, the club was reincarnated in 1986 as the Vancouver 86ers in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL). They set a North American professional record of 46 consecutive matches without defeat (1988-1989) and won four straight CSL championships (1988-1991).
The 86ers formally changed their name back to the Whitecaps in 2000, winning USL-1 championships in 2006 and 2008. The club joined MLS as the 17th team in 2011. In 2012, they became the first Canadian team to qualify for the MLS Cup.
Some famous players include Thomas Müller who signed with the Whitecaps in a high-profile free agent move in 2025. Going the other way was Alphonso Davies who developed through the Whitecaps Academy, before moving to the Allianz Arena and Bayern Munich in a landmark transfer in 2018. Davies captains the Canadian national team.
Other well known players are Bob Lenarduzzi, a key player in the 1979 NASL championship. He also coached the 86ers to their record streak, and is a member of the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame. He coached the national team from 1993-1998.
Brazilian forward Camilo Sanvezzo won the 2013 MLS Golden Boot with 22 goals and in his two years at the club scored 39 goals altogether.
Fan favourite Carl Valentine was a star in the 1979 NASL championship and played for both the Whitecaps and 86ers. The Manchester-born striker went on to represent Canada at international level. Ex-Watford and USA defender Jay DeMerit played for the club after leaving Vicarge Road and now calls the Vancouver area home.
Scottish midfielder Ryan Gauld has become the team's playmaker and is recognized for his high assist rate since joining in 2021. Gauld began his career at Tannadice with Dundee United and has also played in Portugal.
Danish goalkeeper David Ousted holds the franchise record for wins (55) and shutouts (42) in the MLS era. He played for The Caps from 2013 to 2017 before returning to Europe after brief stints with DC United and Chicago Fire.
