World Cup 2018 Official Emblem
The official emblem for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia mirrors the shape of the World Cup trophy once more as did the 2014 emblem.
The red, gold and black colors are nods to the medieval tradition of Russian icon painting.
The emblem was revealed at midnight Moscow time back in 2014 by three Russian astronauts from the international space station.
Brandia from Lisbon were the agency responsible for the final design.
