East End Park (KDM Group East End Park for sponsorship reasons) in Dunfermline is the home ground of Dunfermline Athletic FC. The club currently competes in the Scottish Championship, the second level of professional football in Scotland.
The league consists of 10 teams. The champions are promoted to the Scottish Premiership. The clubs finishing second, third and fourth enter the Premiership promotion play-offs together with the 11th-placed Premiership side.
Capacity
The historic stadium opened in 1885 and today is an all-seater ground with a capacity of 11,480 spectators. It consists of four stands: the Main (South) Stand, the North East Stand, the Vertu Community Stand (East Stand) and the Norrie McCathie Stand.
The ground has a natural grass pitch and under soil heating. The Main Stand dates from the early 1960s and is the largest structure in the stadium.
The East and Norrie McCathie Stands, rebuilt in the late 1990s, are steep single-tier stands behind each goal. Away supporters are usually located in the East Stand (Vertu Community Stand), which can hold just over 3,000 visiting fans. East End Park once held far larger crowds, with a record attendance of 27,816 for a match against Celtic in 1968.
The Club: Dunfermline Athletic
Dunfermline Athletic were founded in 1885 and are commonly nicknamed "The Pars." The club has spent much of its history in the upper tiers of Scottish football and enjoyed its greatest success in the 1960s. The Pars have won the Scottish Cup twice, in 1961 (under Jock Stein) and 1968, and regularly competed in European competitions during that era. Their home kit traditionally features white shirts with black detailing, black shorts and white socks.
Access - Getting There
The stadium is located on Halbeath Road, slightly east of Dunfermline city centre and adjacent to Dunfermline Cemetery.
The closest railway stations are Dunfermline City railway station (formerly Dunfermline Town) from where it is about a 20 minute walk northeast to the ground.
Dunfermline Queen Margaret railway station is roughly a 15-minute walk to the east.
Both stations have regular services to Edinburgh and other towns in Scotland on the Fife Circle Line including Cowdenbeath and Rosyth. Several local buses stop close to the stadium, including routes 19 and 28 which both stop at the Athol Place stop.
By car from the M90 motorway, exit at Junction 3 and follow the A907 toward Dunfermline. The stadium will appear on the right. There is a small official car park behind the East Stand as well as nearby street parking.

Accessibility
The club offers a total of 31 wheelchair spaces, all on elevated viewing platforms with an excellent view of the pitch. 12 are in the Norrie McCathie (West) Stand for home supporters, 12 in the East Stand (for away supporters) and 7 in the South-East corner of the Main Stand. There are toilets specifically adapted for disabled supporters in both the home and away stands (Norrie McCathie and East Stand) and there is also an accessible toilet for users of the viewing platform at the South-East corner of the Main Stand.
