Korail Airport Railroad (AREX; 인천국제공항철도)
The new Korail Airport Railroad links Seoul Station in Seoul to Incheon International Airport in Incheon in only 43 minutes on the fastest express trains. This compares with the highway limousine bus which takes around one hour.
The high-speed airport line intersects with KTX trains, Seoul subway lines 1 (for Suwon) and 4, the Gyeongui Line and Seoul city buses at Seoul Station.
Non-stop AREX express trains leave every 30 minutes and regular trains every six minutes. Regular trains take 53 minutes from Seoul Station to Incheon International Airport.
Arex Train Schedule
Trains run from Seoul Station between 6 am to 8 pm and from Incheon International Airport from 5.30 am-7.30 pm.
The express fare is presently 9,000 won from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station. The child fare is 7,000 won.
The present adult fare for the train stopping at all stations is 4,750 won from Terminal 2 to Seoul Station and 4,150 from Terminal 1.
Check-in and baggage forwarding services are available at Seoul Station.
AREX Stations
Stations on the line from Seoul Station are: Gongdeok (opened December 2011, connects with subway lines 5 & 6), Hongdik University (Line 2), Digital Media City (Line 6, Gyeongui Line), Gimpo Airport (Lines 5 & 9), Gyeyang (Incheon Subway Line 1), Geomam, Unseo, Incheon International Airport Cargo Terminal and Incheon International Airport.
