Capacity
The stadium has a capacity of 6,039 with covered seating for 1,011, covered standing for 4,324 and uncovered standing for 704 spectators.
Facilities
The non-league ground opened in 1995 and features the Main Stand, the Wimblebury Terrace on the opposite side of the pitch and covered terraces at either end - the Hednesford End and Heath Hayes End. The great Sir Stanley Matthews officially opened the venue.
The playing surface at Keys Park is state-of-the-art hybrid turf put down in August 2025.
There are pylon-style floodlights and a modern digital scoreboard was installed in 2024.
The licensed Strikers Bar offers food and drinks and there is also an outdoor bar for refreshments.
Club
Nicknamed 'The Pitmen' Hednesford Town date from 1880 and first played at 'The Tins' behind The Anglesey Hotel in Hednesford.
The Pitmen began life in the Birmingham & District League in 1889. In 1904 the club moved to a new ground - the Cross Keys - not far from their present home.
By 1995 Hednesford were in their present ground and also in The Conference. In the 1996-97 season the club reached the fourth round of the FA Cup going out to Middlesbrough.
The following season Hednesford beat Hull City 2-0 in the first round of the FA Cup at Boothferry Park. However in 2000 the club were relegated but were back in The Conference for the 2013-2014 season.
After being relegated to Division One West of the Northern Premier League at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, the club bounced back strongly. In the 2024-25 season they finished as runners-up and secured promotion to the Premier Division by defeating Vauxhall Motors 3-1 in the play-off semi-finals before overcoming Congleton Town 2-0 in the final.
The following season, 2025-26, Hednesford again finished runners-up, this time in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. They continued their impressive form in the play-offs, beating Stockton Town 2-0 in the semi-finals and then overcoming Warrington Rylands on penalties 5-4 in the final to seal successive promotions and a place in the National League North.
Access - Getting There
Hednesford is 11 miles north of Wolverhampton and about 10 miles south of Stafford.
The nearest railway stations are Hednesford (about 30 minutes on foot) and Cannock (about 45 minutes on foot). The 62 bus from Hednesford Station runs to Kingsmead School from where the ground is a 12-minute walk.
Hednesford Station has trains to Birmingham International, Birmingham New Street and Rugeley Trent Valley.

Accessibility
There is disabled access to the ground and 20 spaces for wheelchair users are available at the front of the main stand and behind the goal at the Hednesford End. A disabled toilet is located at the Hednesford End side of the Main Stand.
